MINECRAFT SERVERS

Best Minecraft Servers

The best community depends on how you want to play. This list helps you compare useful Java, Bedrock and Crossplay profiles using recorded directory signals rather than a subjective star rating. Open a profile to read its rules, check the supported version and find the address for your edition.

About this server list

Popular and most-played communities are covered by this same ranking, not separate near-identical lists. Player activity is a cached observation, while votes record support from visitors. Neither figure proves that a server is the right fit for you, and an online check does not guarantee future availability.

Only approved listings with a useful description, a unique edition and connection-endpoint set, and a recent successful status check enter this ranking. Offline listings within the recent-success grace period remain visible below online communities.

The ordering compares these signals in sequence: current observed online state; reported online players; recorded votes; the number of supplied optional profile details; latest successful check; latest status check; and actual listing creation time. The oldest listing ID breaks an otherwise exact tie. Missing player counts contribute zero to the player comparison, rather than an invented estimate.

The five optional details are country, gamemodes, a reported version, a usable HTTPS website link and a usable HTTPS Discord link. Their count is listing completeness, not a review score. Recorded status-check history is available on profiles; it measures sampled checks, not continuous uptime, and does not determine this ordering. Paid placement never changes this organic ordering.

Online priority requires a successful observation within the configured active window, which is two hours by default. An older online flag is labelled as an outdated snapshot, not treated as current activity. Offline or outdated profiles can remain visible during the separate recent-success grace period, but do not count towards the minimum active inventory for search indexation.

Every check time comes from the cached status record. The snapshot update time shown above is the latest recorded check among the displayed communities, not the time this page was requested. A temporary outage is labelled honestly; a permanently stale or inactive profile is excluded by the recent-success quality gate.

Questions before joining

Where should I enter the server address?

Open the profile and use the address labelled for your Minecraft edition. Java uses Multiplayer; supported Bedrock devices use the Servers tab and need an address and port.

Can I browse without an account?

Yes. Browsing profiles is public. Joining happens in Minecraft; follow the community’s own version, mod and access requirements.

How are these servers selected?

Only approved listings with a useful description, a unique edition and connection-endpoint set, and a recent successful status check enter this ranking. Offline listings within the recent-success grace period remain visible below online communities.
