Terms of Service

These rules keep YourMCBrowser useful, fair and safe for players and server owners.

Using YourMCBrowser

By creating an account, voting or submitting a server, you agree to these terms. Do not use the service if you do not agree.

Accounts and verification

Provide accurate details, keep your password private and use only accounts you control. Up to three confirmed accounts are permitted per network; an unconfirmed registration does not permanently occupy one of those places and expires after 24 hours. Every account must use a unique username and email address and must be activated through the one-time link sent to that address. Registration is protected by human-verification, account and network quotas, and request controls. VPN, proxy, Tor, privacy-relay and hosting connections may be used to register or sign in, but they do not remove those limits. Repeated creation or deletion may temporarily prevent further registrations. A non-administrator account holder may permanently delete their account from Account settings after confirming the request; every server listing owned by that account is deleted with it.

Server listings

Each account may submit a maximum of two servers. Only one listing may use the same normalized server name, public domain/address or resolved public server IP, including listings that use another port. One Crossplay listing counts as one listing, while protecting both of its saved Java and Bedrock endpoints. A submission must return a valid Minecraft Java or Bedrock status response and is then published automatically, but it may be added without ownership proof. A listing is labelled “Added by” unless an independent ownership check is separately recorded. Connecting Votifier activates only automatic reward delivery. A separate dashboard check using a fresh MOTD challenge or a fresh DNS TXT token on the advertised server address can record server management access and change the label to “Verified owner”. This check confirms technical access, not legal ownership. Ownership verification is optional for voting and rewards. Owners can edit or permanently delete their own listings from the dashboard. Listings must be accurate, lawful and suitable for a general Minecraft audience. Repeated add/delete activity may temporarily prevent further submissions. We may edit, reject, hide or remove misleading, unsafe, inactive or abusive listings.

Voting and fair use

No account or sign-in is required to vote, and VPN, proxy, Tor, privacy-relay and hosting connections are permitted. Votes must come from real players. An account, protected browser vote identity or Minecraft player identity may vote for the same server once every 24 hours. Automated or purchased votes and attempts to reset or bypass the security checks or voting cooldown by changing connections, cookies, browsers, accounts or player names are prohibited.

Community reviews

An activated account may publish one star rating and plain-text review per server, then edit or remove its own review. You cannot review a listing owned by your account. Write in your own language, describe your own experience honestly and do not post spam, harassment or private information. Your account username, review, rating and publication/update dates are public. Community ratings are opinions, not proof that someone played on a server or verified its ownership. Administrators may remove abusive reviews. Account deletion removes reviews authored by that account from the active website; deleting a server listing removes its reviews.

Free banner downloads

The banner maker and generated GIF downloads are free to use and do not require an account, subscription or watermark. Use only names, logos and material you are entitled to use. You remain responsible for content you create, download, publish or submit.

Content you submit

You keep ownership of your server descriptions, banners and other submitted content. While that content is submitted to the service, you grant YourMCBrowser a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, resize or optimize, and publicly display it only as needed to operate and present the directory and your listing. This licence ends when the content is removed, except for short-lived technical copies or records we must retain by law.

Use at your own risk and liability

YourMCBrowser, its directory, user-submitted server information, banner maker and generated files are provided “as is” and “as available”. You use the service, join listed third-party servers and download or use generated files at your own risk. We do not control third-party Minecraft servers and do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, complete accuracy or compatibility with every third-party service. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, YourMCBrowser is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of data, lost profits, service interruption or damage caused by third-party servers, user-submitted content or use of generated files. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

Availability and enforcement

We may change, suspend or withdraw features and may restrict accounts or listings that threaten the service or other users. The directory and user-submitted information are provided as available; always verify a server before joining.

Minecraft disclaimer

YourMCBrowser is an independent service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or approved by Mojang or Microsoft.
